![]() I solved it by “extract textures” and “ extract materials”, which would extract the related textures and materials from the fbx file into the Project directory. We need to go the Materials tab to extract manually. It is actually because the external fbx file wouldn’t automatically give Unity the texture information. Trouble: When I import the downloaded model into Unity, it lost all the materials and textures. To retarget the character, I should have a model with no animation, which is T-pose. Note!
